I lead a team of 20 UX managers, designers, writers and researchers. We are responsible for 15+ HR products spanning global compensation and talent management (promotion, career growth, manager development, talent evaluation, under performance management, internal transfers, onboarding, etc.).
When joining Amazon, the team interested me because it presented an opportunity to develop my leadership and management skills through doing the design work I love. I started as an individual contributor, diving deep into under performance management. However, I quickly moved into a management role. And, in a little over a year, I stepped into a role leading the full design team.
Due to the confidential and sensitive nature of this work, UX artifacts are not included.
